T-REX PROJECT

The State of Colorado contracted with ACC to take on a six–year endeavor, known as T-REX. Our scope of work included reclamation, installing landscape and irrigation, constructing a concrete border, installing retaining walls, site grading and recurring maintenance. The project began in October of 2000 and wrapped up in November of 2006. ACC performed over 90 percent of the work with internal forces. ACC was recently contracted to continue maintaining the project.

TOPANGA CANYON FIRE RECLAMATION

In the late fall of 2005, ACC was contracted by Boeing Companies to reclaim over 1,000 acres of land burned by a recent wildfire, just north of Los Angeles. ACC set up a large on-site batch plant designed to provide an average of 245,000 gallons of slurry material each day, which was loaded into helicopters and distributed by air. Working through November and December holidays, ACC completed the project on time and on budget.
