John "Bert" Sandman
President, Chief Executive Officer
Bert Sandman, a 35-plus year veteran of the California construction industry, is the perfect fit for the multi-faceted operations of ACC. Prior to ACC, Sandman served as President/COO of A. Teichert & Son, Inc. and ARB - both California companies with construction revenues in excess of $300 million annually. He was appointed to the California State Licensing Board by Governor Gray Davis in 2000 and served, as member and chair, until his transition to Colorado. He also served as chairman of Transportation California, the state’s infrastructure advocacy group, and is a national Director of the Associated General Contractors of America. Sandman is a graduate of the University of California at Davis.
David G. Chandler
Director
David Chandler founded Chicago Growth Partners after spending 16 years with William Blair Capital Partners and three years in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division. He was a founding partner of William Blair Leveraged Capital Fund in 1988 and serves as a director of several companies, including American Civil Constructors, Inc., Encore Paper Company, Engineered Materials Corporation, Gibraltar Packaging Group, Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Pac West Telecommunications, Inc., PharmaResearch Corporation, Sweetwater Sound, and U.S. Education Corporation. Chandler received a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Richard L. Randall
Director
Rick Randall is a 40-year veteran who built a large and successful heavy civil and landscaping contracting company. Randall has received numerous industry awards and been president of many industry associations, including the Colorado Contractors Association and the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado. He attended the Colorado School of Mines with a focus on Civil Engineering.
ROBERT P. HEALY

Rob is a founding Partner of Chicago Growth Partners. Prior to founding CGP, Rob was a Managing Director at William Blair Capital Partners and, currently, is a Managing Director and member of the Board of Managers of WBCP VII. Rob spent three years as a General Partner with ClearLight Partners, a private equity firm based in Newport Beach, California. Prior to ClearLight Partners, Rob was a Principal at William E. Simons & Sons, a Los Angeles based private equity firm. Rob worked in investment banking in New York and Los Angeles with Merrill Lynch & Company prior to joining Simon. Early in his career, Rob served for nine years as an officer in the United States Army. Select current and past directorships include: ABC Window Company, Aimnet Solutions, Airpax Corporation, Benetech, Contempo Ceramic Tile Corporation, eInstruction Corp, Footprint Retail Services, FutureLogic Group, Inc., HouseValues, Paramount Services, Inc., Quality Tools for Learning, Royall & Co., SF Interactive and U.S. Education Corporation. Rob graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a MBA from Harvard Business School.
RON DAVIES

Ron joined Chicago Growth Partners in January 2008 as an Operating Partner. Ron is an experienced business executive; with accomplishments quite familiar to our firm. In 2005, CGP hired Ron as President/COO of a new technology-driven investment, eInstruction Corporation. At eInstruction, the leading provider of testing and assessment software to K-12 and postsecondary education institutions, Ron oversaw the Company's sales, marketing, technology and subsidiary operations. In less than two years, Ron led a number of key initiatives that contributed significantly to eInstruction’s impressive revenue and earnings growth.
Prior to joining eInstruction, Ron was a partner at Fort Dearborn Partners, a management consulting and merchant banking operation, where he successfully managed several middle market businesses and consistently delivered superior rates of return to his clients and investors.
Ron is currently supporting growth initiatives and profit optimization efforts at several of CGP portfolio companies. Ron holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
